About Shadia Siliman

Shadia holds a double bachelor's in Psychology and Gender Studies from the University of Hartford, from which she graduated as valedictorian in 2013. Her research focuses on sexual violence, rape culture, and consent. Specifically, her dissertation uses a Queer of Color Critique to deconstruct the problem of rape and to investigate its spatiotemporal, colonial, affective, and sensory dimensions.
